Some of you may think I a wise guy but my brain is pretty slow. It took a reader to remind me that Myrtle Jenkins-Smith’s hubby is a mole over at the Treasurer’s office. Vaughn Smith is a Chartered Accountant and a nice guy. Myrtle wears the pants and Vaughn, well he’s just Vaughn. He works only one floor away from those other accountants who are in the Auditor General’s office, yeah Colin Younker. Colin’s another nice guy and a Chartered Accountant too.
It’s handy them both being in the same building because if Colin wants to know something about Myrtle Jenkins-Smiths PNP units or Immigrant Scam money he can just pop over to Vaughn’s office and say “Hey Vaughn, is that Myrtle’s numbered company here? I can’t tell.”
Vaughn can tell him right off the bat “No way Jose my fellow CA in arms. Her numbers are all Federally incorporated companies. Oh I wasn’t supposed to say that. Mommy is going to be mad. Please don’t let on.”
“No problemo my frere in accounts,” Colin would be heard to reply. “I know what the old family life can be like.”
