We’ve been doing it for years.
We started doing this for people with disabilities, then we added poverty to our issues, human rights and now the whole ball of wax. We promote social justice for all. We promote political action at the local level. Try us out.
Sometimes others help and sometimes we go it alone. We are not afraid of the truth or anyone.

Dear Mr. Pate,
I would be very interested in discussing the fight my family and I have been in with Consumer Services and that good for nothing Attorney General for almost two years now…..I have actually called for his resignation……I have lots of written correspondence which spells out their disinterest/incompentence in regards to their mandate….we have been the victims of a serious mortgage which does involve fraud and forgery and numerouse violations of the very ACTS that the above mentioned are supposed to be administering…..
Our government is seriously flawed and of course Premier Ghiz and his staff have just chosen to ignore us but for 2 form letters and one waste of time and energy meeting with Tex MacDonald who conveniently forgot pages of questions on his desk for 5 weeks that he assured me he was passing on to the staff downstairs at Consumer Services…..WOW, what a professional bunch……
Gerard Greenan actually got his legal department counsel, Jessie Frost-Wicks to send us a letter suggesting we “refrain” from contacting the government any further about our complaint……excuse me?????????? what happened to my right to access my government officials/departments…what happened to democracy???? Don’t we the tax payers pay their way too high salaries????
Anyway if you would be interested in hearing our story I would enjoy telling it to you…..a very small part of what we have been through was actually aired on Compass back on July 31, 2009…Ian Petrie did the story but we didn’t have the opportunity to tell all the details about our government’s lack of action and its failure to protect the best interest of the public….
We presently have a civil court case filed against the two brokers/and a bank involved in the mortgage…..yes we have been forced to deal with the problem ourselves and we haven’t even been able to get a lawyer who didn’t have a conflict of interest or wanted to go against the very businesses and individuals who pay them money everyday to close and foreclose on mortgages etc…..
Not one government agency has done their job and assisted us with the issues we are facing…..Minister Gail Shea’s office claimed for awhile to be trying to get us some answers from FCAC, Financial Consumer Agency of Canada…..however that contact suddenly stopped and when I recently emailed the individual in Ms. Shea’s office who I had been talking with and suggested we beleived that they to had been told to just ignore us…..she didn’t respond…I guess I’ll take that to mean we were right on the money with that assumption……
Anyway…I could go on forever about the incompentence I have stared in the face and the excuses I have heard and read as to why no one will do the job they are collecting a pay check for every two weeks……
